Went bowling with my dad for the first time since March. I beat him 131-130 the first game, 143-136 the second game and he couldn't bowl the third, so I beat him 182-0 that time.

456 set, just a little below my average.

I haven't gone bowling in years... nor my wife... and she used to carry a 140-150 average (scratch). Don't even ask about mine...

Ever since my spine stuff began, my ball has sat gathering dust in the basement... :(

Lately, I've been trying to get acquainted with this confounded WIN 10 computer, with all its fancy "improvements" from earlier versions of Windows. I got a new printer cable and it began to communicate with the printer, but the scanner is a no-show. Next, I have to copy the stored data copies from my backup hard drive.

Took all my scrap metal in after I got done with the dentist.

One ton even of rotors, 200 lbs of other steel and 100 lbs of batteries, aluminum and copper.

Picked up a reel to reel for cheap, added it to the HIFI.

This evening, I've been setting up my new computer... again!
The one I bought two weeks ago turned into a brick this morning. Just plain died.
So, I returned it to its carton, along with the keyboard and the mouse, an walked it back to WalMart. They squawked that their return policy was 15 days, and that expired yesterday. I wasn't buying it, even if it actually had expired yesterday. So, I rattled a few levels of managerial "talent," and they saw it my way, and swapped my brick for a new computer tower.
This is a pain in the ass.
Have I mentioned how much I dislike Windows 10 lately?

Watching a movie while the cat sleeps in the corner.

I've spent the weekend trying to digest a copy of the book: "Windows 10 For Dummies."
So far, I've learned that Windows 10 is not really a relative (or embellishment) of earlier Windows platforms... doesn't even resemble a cousin.

And my October copy of Car And Driver came in today's mail... nice article of a "$64,000 sports car comparo:" BMW M2 Competition, Toyota Supra, and a Porsche 718 Cayman, with a Mustang GT350. Shockingly, they chose the Mustang as the top car of the group. That rag-mag usually favors foreign machinery.

Today was the first week of bowling. The two assholes I couldn't stand didn't come back.

Dad's bowling again and they had me teamed with him, but I was expecting to bowl with Doug again. I'm a little bit afraid that dad won't be able to bowl the whole year, and I don't really want to find a sub when he'll be gone. Dad's going to bowl with Lucky.

We lost the first game by one pin and won the other two big. I bowled really good, averaged 185.

I sent the letter back to Syracuse today. Well, I filled it out and it'll go out tomorrow. I still never heard back from Buffalo and that was almost two months ago. This is the longest it's ever taken them to contact me after sending one in.

Bought a brand new (ish) Win95 laptop. Came with a case and optical drive too. Works just fine.
