Got my teeth drilled today. Now instead of one tooth that's sensitive, it's two teeth that are sensitive.

I have to say, fellas, that I feel better than I have in years. Maybe 20 of them.

There was a big bang last night, then my monitor shut off and restarted - nothing else in my bedroom even flickered. When I got home from work, my dad showed me what the rumpus was.

Our neighbours lost another tree. I counted at least 8, probably closer to 12 boards broken, plus the top two 2X4s in that section. Three sections are bent in towards our yard. It ripped the wires off our house, but luckily didn't kill our power, like other times they've lost trees. Since we moved in in 1993, they've lost at least four trees, one other one on our power lines. We were without power for four or five days then because everybody was without and we didn't find out that ours was because of the tree until the rest of the neighbourhood got power back, then we weren't as high priority because they were still trying to get power to groups of houses.

National Grid was supposed to be out here today to remove the tree and reattach the lines to our house, but they had to wait for a cut up crew, which didn't materialise today, so we haven't been able to fully assess the damage yet.

They cut the tree up and reattached their lines today, but now we need to wait for Verizon to reattach their lines to the house.

Tomorrow.

I'm 38 years old. Do you think the Royal Canadian Air Force would take me?

Mounted some good tires on a spare set of Mustang Premium wheels and put them up for sale.

Image

If they don't sell then I might mount them on the Vic.

Then I found a set of Mustang/Marauder wheels for cheap

Got the fence partially fixed. Put two new 2X4s in and put all the boards back on Rob's side to keep his dog on his side of the fence and our dogs on ours. His yard is a mudpit.

Finished fixing the fence today, then went around back to Joe's side and replaced a couple boards back there. Then I put the enclosure down on the deck so it'll be warmer in my bedroom now.

We rearranged the garage and got the snowblower going. Started up after just two seconds of the electric start. Gonna need to run it tomorrow, I'll wager.
