Drove it to work, got lunch, drove home, filled it, drove it to the bank, saw a Matco truck at Everett's shop, talked to the Matco guy about getting some tools warrantied, went in and talked to Everett about that, went home, went to the bowling alley, then back home.

Starting was sluggish this morning. I wanted to check my battery while I was at work, but I didn't have the time.

Seat belt light stayed on the whole way to work even though I was obviously wearing my seat belt. Even checked the passenger's belt. Was normal every time after that.

Put a battery that had more than 288 Cold Cranking Amps in it.

Unrelated - washed it.

Drove it over to the other shop to see how much a new battery would cost me.

Not much... I drove my daughter to work, then brought her back home.

The screwed-up EATC system is getting on my nerves... the car runs nice, starts every time, gets "decent" fuel mileage (after all, it IS a heavy V-8 RWD sedan) and it's comfortable and capacious... but no Defroster, the blower speed changing constantly, and the system panel doors rattling around is more than annoying. The dealership said that they had one old guy who knew about the problem and how to fix it, but they wanted the estimated payment in advance. (Because they figured if they did it and I refused to pay their bill, I would probably just abandon the vehicle.)

Given my age and physical condition, :cane: I always thought that this car would out-live me... :(

Finally!

Before...

They don't really stick out. And yes I know my rims are nasty. I was hoping to really scrub them while they were off, but ran out of daylight/time/nice weather.

I did have a issue with the right side, maybe someone can clarify- how is the hose supposed to be routed? On the left side, the hard section goes down and behind the caliper. On the right though, the only way I could get the hose to fit is to have the hard section up and away. Doesn't seem right. I thought I had the wrong hose, as they both have an "L" stamped into the bracket, but I picked up another and the same part is listed for right and left.

Air suspension light came on on the way to work.
Thought I heard the pump running more than usual, which was already more than it should. Crap.

Hasn't come back on in 24 hours.
Do need to change those out, though.

Had to take the sandbags out to go get tires today. I don't really need the sandbags in the trunk right now, but I'd rather leave them in there even though the weather's good than have to lift them in and out every time it snows.
